I started the day by bonding and riveting the cowling horizontal split line quarter turn fastener retainer strips. Next I fitted the lower cowling on the firewall so I could fit the engine cooling plenum, positining the plenum to align with the cowling engine cooling air intake. With the position of the plenum figured out I determined the height of the oil cooler on the engine aft left baffle and prepared the baffle for the oil cooler installation.
